Setting up

From Invoicing, open Get paid through RevvFi and tap Set up payments. If you have several businesses it asks Set up which business?; payments are set up one business at a time. Stripe's own onboarding opens, where you confirm your identity and the bank account for payouts. While Stripe checks the details the screen reads Stripe is reviewing {business}, usually for a few minutes, with Review or finish your Stripe details if something is missing.

What it costs

Your Stripe card processing rate plus RevvFi's 0.4% per invoice, taken out of the payout. No monthly fee. Stripe's fees are charged to your Stripe account, not to RevvFi.

Passing the card fee to the client

On an invoice, switch on Add card processing fee and a Card processing fee line (3.9% by default) is added for the client. Two things to know: the fee cannot be added to bank payments, so the invoice becomes card-only; and the first time you turn it on you must confirm that surcharging is allowed where you do business (it is prohibited in Connecticut, for example).

Bank transfer (ACH)

Once Stripe has activated bank payments on your account, invoices show Bank transfer (ACH) next to Card. Keep the card fee off if you want to offer both.

Where the money goes

Payouts go from Stripe straight to the bank account you gave Stripe. RevvFi never holds your money. Payout timing follows Stripe's schedule for your account and is shown in your Stripe dashboard.

Shared businesses

Only the business owner can run payment setup. A partner on a shared business sees The business owner hasn't finished payment setup yet until then.
