The problem
The tools built for self-employed people fall into three buckets, and none of them fit:
- Bookkeeper-grade products that cost $30 a month and are overkill for a side hustle.
- Glorified spreadsheets that make you do all the work yourself.
- Freebies bolted onto tax-filing software that only think about deductions once a year.
Meanwhile the IRS expects quarterly estimates, a tidy Schedule C, receipts for everything, and a defensible mileage log. That's a lot to ask of someone already wearing every hat in their business.
What we built
RevvFi is opinionated tooling for the business of one. The app watches your bank account, your camera roll, and your phone's location so you don't have to think about tax prep until you actually need to. Receipts, transactions, mileage, home office, income — categorized and quantified in real time. By April you have a clean Schedule C export.
How we decide what to build
- The number on your screen is the number on your return. No recomputation between the app and your accountant's view. Whatever deduction the app calculates gets written to the database verbatim.
- Every feature answers a real deduction. We don't ship financial-planning features that don't move the needle on your taxes.
- Your accountant is part of the product. The CPA portal gives your accountant a real double-entry general ledger, journal entries, financial statements, and bank reconciliation — on the same numbers you see. Free for them, no PDF export dance.
- You own your data.Export any time. 30 days of read-only access after cancellation. Permanent deletion on request.
Where things stand
RevvFi is live on the App Store, Google Play, and the web app at app.getrevvapp.com. One subscription covers all three. The trial is 14 days with full access; we ask for a payment method upfront, and there's no charge until day 15.
